Usually, I plan which products I want to buy based on my upcoming classes, or on the projects I will need it for. That's how I decide what I'm getting versus what I want to buy (which is almost everything!) But, every now and then, there is a stamp set that I just have to have; it was the case for this Magical Mermaid stamp set. So I did, and then it stayed on my shelf for several months. I just did not know what to do with it. I loved the images, but I couldn't come up with a card design with it. I just felt like something was missing. Until, I saw the special article about shaker cards in the demonstrator publication of Stampin' Success. There was a shaker card using the mermaid and I knew it was the perfect way to use her!
